Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredient

 

  300g brussels sprouts, trimmed, sliced

  1 leek, sliced finely

  3 bacon rashers, rind removed, coarsely chopped

  30g butter

 

Method

  1. Cook the bacon and leek  in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes or until golden.
  2. Add the brussels sprouts and butter to the bacon, and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper. And a little water or stock. Cook for about 3 minutes.
  3. Perfect as a side dish to meat or chicken
